Classmates of boy fatally struck by cabbie on UWS create library in his memory

Community service projects are nothing new to the kids who go to Calhoun, an independent, progressive school on the Upper West Side.

But the one they completed on Thursday was painfully different.

Second, third and fourth graders spent the past few months creating a children’s library for a nearby homeless shelter in the name of their beloved classmate, Cooper Stock.
